Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie Bowl

Get your Vitamin C the natural way! To protect your health in times like these, it is a great idea to focus on the dietary choices that are going to strengthen us from the inside out. Strawberries and kiwis are loaded with this vitamin which is beneficial for immune health, and the benefits skyrocket when it is ingested naturally from a food source rather than taking a tablet.

Did you know that strawberries contain more vitamin C per 100 grams than oranges? And the vitamin C content per 100g of kiwis is almost double that of oranges! The strawberry-kiwi combo is like a Vitamin C packed punch right to the immune system.

Another great way to enhance your smoothie is with grass-fed collagen. Not only is collagen beneficial for skin, hair and nail health, it can help repair a leaky gut. The amino acids found in collagen are important components in keeping the immunity of the gut strong and the lining impermeable. When combined with the proper diet, (that is, a diet low in refined sugar, gluten and lactose) collagen can help rebuild your gut wall to it’s natural strength and form.
