Pineapple Kiwi Protein Smoothie Bowl
Here we have a super easy smoothie bowl made up to look extra pretty. Pineapple, banana, and kiwi make a delicious tropical combo. I've topped it off with some fresh fruits, shredded coconut and bee pollen.
I bought my bee pollen local in Portugal while I was staying there a few weeks ago. It's important to buy local to decrease the number of miles on your food and to increase the nutritional content. Bee pollen is high in anti-oxidants and helps reduce inflammation. It may also have antiviral, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties! Read more about it here if you're interested.

Ingredients:
Smoothie
1 large banana
1 cup diced pineapple
1/2 cup cashew milk
1/2 cup ice
1 scoop pea protein powder (regular or vanilla)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp bee pollen
1/2 kiwi fruit
Toppings
Shredded coconut
Bee Pollen
Kiwi fruit
Pineapple
Directions:
Blend together all smoothie ingredients and transfer to a bowl. Top with my suggested toppings or whatever you want! Enjoy!
